Last updated: 15 October 2026. Public service name: ClipHatch. Contact and account controls.
Status of this notice
ClipHatch is the public service name at cliphatch.app. This draft describes the implemented service and still requires legal review. The legal operator identity, contact address, lawful bases, international transfer safeguards and retention schedule must be confirmed before public launch.
Data needed for the creator workflow
The account service uses a Twitch identifier and display name, workspace membership, encrypted provider tokens and an expiring session. It does not ask for your Twitch password. Recordings, transcripts and generated clips are private to authorised workspace members. Short-lived media links allow playback and downloads; anyone you share a valid link with may be able to use it until it expires.
Service providers
The service uses Twitch for creator authentication, Vercel for hosting, Sandbox processing and private Blob storage, Neon for the database, Deepgram for transcription, AI Gateway and its configured model provider for transcript-based highlight suggestions, and Stripe for payments. Relevant audio or transcript content is sent to the selected processing providers. Provider locations, contractual safeguards and data retention must be verified in the final notice; this draft does not promise zero data retention.
Billing data
Stripe handles payment details for subscriptions. ClipHatch stores customer and subscription references, plan status, usage and billing audit events, without storing card details. A hashed Twitch identifier is retained after account deletion to prevent repeated trials and free-allowance resets through new workspaces. The operator must publish and approve the retention basis and periods before commercial launch.
Control and deletion
Account settings provide Twitch disconnection and account deletion requests. Deletion invalidates sessions and schedules provider revocation and media cleanup; it is not instantaneous. Media and saved transcripts expire at the time shown in the workspace. Download clips you need to keep. Backup expiry, billing and abuse-prevention retention periods and legal exceptions still require publication.
